Retaining Walls
We Recommend Treated Pine over Treated Hardwood. Retaining walls made of Treated Timber give a natural look and feel to your garden. You can choose from Treated Pine Sleepers or Logs while Treated Hardwood Sleepers are still a popular choice here in Queensland because it is incorrectly thought that hard-wood is better and longer lasting.
Sleepers
Treated pine sleepers will actually last longer than hardwood sleepers due to the CCA treatment process which ensures that every wood cell is impregnated with the preservative. Treated Pine Timber used for sleepers has a more consistent finish, as well as lasting longer and being easier to handle, cut and drill.
Available in various sizes:
2.4m x 200mm x 50mm
3.0m x 200mm x 50mm
4.8m x 200mm x 75mm
2.4m x 200mm x 100mm
Logs
These treated and precision round logs really give you the opportunity to build a very attractive timber wall. Just like treated pine (see above) they are guaranteed against fungal and white ant attack for up to 40 years. They are also light weight and easy for you to construct your retaining project.

Lengths 1.8m, 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.6m and 4.8m
Diameter 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 180mm, 200mm
6.0m lengths are available in 125mm and 150mm
Split logs are available in 2.4m lengths and we also stock treated pine garden edging.
