STYLES AVAILABLE

Used mostly along side and rear boundaries, Batten Top Paling fencing has paling lengths available from 0.9m to 2.4m high. (1.8m is the standard height for boundaries) There are two other styles of paling used for decoration which are the colonial and heritage style paling. These can make your fence a practical feature of your home.

There is also a choice of using 2 or 3 rails in a fence. If you are using 2 rails, a larger rail is used, however it is always better to use 3 rails because the centre rail gives more support to the palings and makes for a stronger fence. Moving the centre rail up also meets with pool regulations.

Posts are most commonly 100mm Koppers logs but 100x100mm square posts and 50x50mm steel posts can also be used.

Standard gate sizes are a 1.0m opening for a single gate and a 3.0m opening for a double gate. Because we make the frames in our workshop we can tailor to suit your specific needs.

The variations of a timber fence are limitless. Whether it be arching the palings or alternating the paling style as well as painting the fence to suit the decor of your home.

For the home handyman, we can supply all materials required to erect the fencing yourself. From nails to timber to gates. And we'll even give you free advice on installation.
